Matthew C. Petrillo is a telecommunications policy analyst, advocate and specialist in corporate and public communications.

Most recently, he was Senior Director, at CompassRose International, a Washington DC-based boutique consulting firm specializing in international telecommunications and regulatory affairs.  Prior to joining CompassRose in 1998, he was an Associate Editor at Telecommunications Reports, the premier industry trade newsletter in Washington, where he covered Congress and the Administration during implementation of the Telecommunications Act of 1996. He also edited specialized publications covering the communications billing and resale subsectors.

Mr. Petrillo is a regular participant in national policy organizations, including the U.S. Council for International Business, and is a frequently a member of U.S. delegations to international organizations, including the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperative (APEC), the Inter-American Telecommunications Commission (CITEL), and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
